Learn about Idaho Drivers License Requirements

To get your Idaho Drivers License you must be 16 years old accompanies by proof of residency, proof of age and your full name. Though I didn't find any information regarding the exact documents they accept I would imagine that you will need your birth certificate and social security card. Below are the fees associated with recieving your Idaho drivers license.



  • 1-year (age 17)
  • 3-year (under 18)
  • 3-year (age 18 to 21)
  • 1-year (age 20)
  • 4-year (age 21 and over)
  • 8-year (age 21 to 62)

Skills Test ($3.50 to County, $11.50 to Skills Tester)
