Learn about New Mexico Drivers License Requirements

To receive your New Mexico drivers license there are certain restrictions and requirements. If you are under 18 years old you must participate in the Graduated Drivers License program. So first at age 15 you will need to apply for a learners permit. You must pass a written and vision test. You will then go through a provisional stage which restricts when and where you can drive. Finally, you will have your basic or unrestricted drivers license.
